GLOW Eindhoven 2019

GLOW Eindhoven 2019, 9 to 16 november, the most interesting light festival in The Netherlands. We developed a concept for one of Eindhoven's most iconic buildings: the Witte Dame/ the White Lady. A former Philips factory, now hosting the public library and many companies. To obtain the most interesting design for the mapping, all windows were blacked out. Making it possible to show the inside of the building. For the best possible 3D-effect, we could show the complete inner character of the building. Giving us a lot of extra possibilities to create our mapping. Also a challenge, working with a 90 degree corner in the heart of the projection. We made many studies to get the most realistic shapes, dimensions and reflections. Later, our mapping was selected to be shown at the videomapping contest of Rencontres Audiovisuelles, Lille France Concept: Jan Fabel 3D motion design: Dirk van Poppel Sound design: Erwin Steijlen Projectie: BeamBrothers
