Tower of Light:
After the success of ‘Blob the Bulb’ in 2017, we were invited again to participate in GLOW 2018. We chose one of Eindhoven’s most iconic buildings, the ‘Lichttoren /Tower of Light. Formerly a Philips factory. Where lamps were produced and tested. Orange light was shining from the top of the building, a beacon for the city. We developed a story line that revealed some highlights from the history of the company.
After months of preparation the plan was accepted, also by the inhabitants of the building. Their windows had to be covered with special foil. We found a material that made it possible to project on, as the inhabitants still could look through their windows.
Public’s favourite:
Over 700.000 people visited GLOW 2018, our work was chosen as ‘public’s favourite’ and video clips went viral all over the internet. Watch for yourselves:
